Deoli OVERVIEW
Deoli is situated in Tonk district, and lies about 85 km from Kota, Rajasthan. Deoli has a
glorious history that dates back to 1857 mutiny during British rule. Deoli was a cantonment
station founded in 1852 by a British major. It became an eminent part of Indian freedom struggle
movement later. Later, after independence, Deoli was used by CRP as a training centre which has
now transformed into a full fledged CISF training centre. The area has a population of 119,432
as per the last census report with 56% males and about 44% females.
