Hyderabad. It is the headquarters of Kukatpallymandal in Malkajgiri revenue division of Medchal
District. It was a municipality prior to its merger into the Greater Hyderabad Municipal
Corporation. Kukatpally was formed after the delimitation of Khairtabad.
