Rajender Nagar Overview

This place is named after the first President of India, Dr Rajendra Prasad. It is a strategically located residential colony in Central Delhi. With the Central Ridge Protected Forest bordering the perimeter of Rajendra Nagar, this locality is well connected to Ghaziabad and Noida. Karol Bagh is situated to the north of this place and IARI on the west. The entire area is divided into Old and New Rajendra Nagar by Shankar Road. This is a peaceful neighbourhood with lots of parks, the most prominent among them being the Nehru Park that witnesses many footfalls especially during the early morning hours.

India’s Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was born in Rajendra Nagar in the Talwar Nursing Home!
