Worli Overview

Did you know that initially, Worli was a separate island? Actually Worli is among the seven islands of Mumbai that were given by the Portuguese to the English government in 1661. It was then that it was linked up with the other six islands. Today, Worli is a posh locality in Mumbai that is home to the who’s who of this dazzling city.
